Reading Across Rhode Island 2014:
Kick-off Event
Reading Across Rhode Island, Rhode Island's One Book, One State community read program, is kicking off its 12th year! The 2014 title will be Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore by Robin Sloan.
On Sunday, January 26, Rhode Islanders are invited to attend the kick off event featuring a screening of the documentary, Google and the World Brain, followed by a discussion of the book.
The presentation will take place on January 26 from 2pm - 4:30pm at the Providence Public Library. Tickets
are $20 and include one paperback copy of the book (retail value
$15.00). Light refreshments will be provided. For more information and
